Wonderful story, I'm so glad you posted it at the J/L community so I could read it. Most of the J/L I read (and write) is more about the romance, and this was a great change, to read about something so dark and difficult for James. So sad, and probably so true, for them to be fighting a war at such a young age. Great job!

I've enjoyed your writing since discovering it over the summer during the Lily/James ficfest you guys hosted. That was so much fun. :) I figured I'd never remember to check if you had new stories, so I clicked the friend button to be sure I'd see them when you do. Oops, I thought you were one of the mods over the summer! You are part of Mischief Managed, right? I just looked at the prompts today. Oh my, lol! I hope some inspiration hits like it did last time, we'll see.

My fic journal is gmariam_fics. There is a link on my gmariam journal. I've only just started, but except for a chaptered WIP, all my J/L stuff is up. They are truly my OTP. Even when I know I should write something else, I come back to them! I just need to move away from the romance aspect, like you did. Oh, and I remember your story from over the summer too, when Lily thought James was dead. Such great ideas!
