New Chapter! Kin and Kisses
Story Summary: This story follows the marauders, Lily, and some original characters starting with the summer before their 6th year at Hogwarts. James is trying (and mostly failing) to win the affection of Lily, who has convinced herself that she hates him beyond all doubt. But that doubt is slowly fading... and soon she will realise. Sirius knows he's gay but struggles with feelings for somebody he'd never thought he'd fall for. Remus, too, is struggling with his own sexual identification. For once, Peter's love life is the only one in which real progress is being made. But, as always, Romantic wins and gains aren't the only things at stake.
Chapter 32 Summary: Things keep changing. Some changes are for the better, but others seem as though they won't lead anywhere but to more darkness. Look forward to: Filch, Quidditch, and a surprise visit!

"Mr. Lupin," [McGonagall] demanded, "where is Mr. Potter?"
"He's, er," Remus said, taken aback by the unexpected interrogation, "He's asleep. In the dormitory."
"And if I were to go there right now, where would I find him?" She asked.
James held his breath and stood exceptionally still, trying to avoid making any sort of noise or disturbance in the air that would give him away.
"I'd assume in his own bed, Professor," Sirius replied cheekily. "Though, sometimes I swear that he prefers my bed, so you may find him there. But he's really quite cranky when woken up mid dream, especially if he's dreaming about-"
"That's enough, Mr. Black," McGonagall interrupted curtly.
