I don't think the Senior Partner's would be very happy about Lindsey slacking off so much lately. Come to think of it, I don't think Lindsey would really like it if I brought that to the Senior Partner's attention. Which is exactly why I think that I should.
It's not that I want to get him in trouble with the Senior Partners, who for all intents and purposes could just terminate him. Well okay, yes it is that I want to get him in trouble.
I've got a good thing going on around here, between sending Angel on wild goose chases, and working on having Faith contained. I refuse to let Lindsey show up at the last minute and take credit for everything I've worked so hard for just like he always does.
My cellphone rang and I answered it quickly, as I walked into the parking garage below Wolfram and Hart.
"How interesting..." I said with a smirk, at the end of the conversation.
I guess those retrieval demons weren't able to bring Faith in, as requested by the Senior Partners. Some pesky new slayer is protecting her. Well, I'll just have to do something about that.....later. I have more important matters to attend to now.
Getting in my car I made the drive to a small music store in Orange County. William the Bloody worked here according to my sources, now that was rich.
