It's not like I can suddenly make Eddie lay off. He's got his own agenda, and it's not like I can make Jen stop talking to you. Those people are out of my control. All I can do is make myself happy. I have always had a certain joy in making others happy, but this last week or so it's felt like almost torture. I know you want me to be happy, but I can't be happy with things like this.
