Lid'l in Wonderland?

*le gasp* What's this? Lid'l actually did her homework yesterday? Shocking, I know! I started studying Creative Writing in april this year and haven't made it past chapter 6 yet! It was supposed to take me 8 months to finish, but I think it'll take me double. Which is perfectly fine, because it's a self-study program but I would have liked to have done it in those 8 month worth of time. Oh well, as long as I keep going at it, ne?

I'm really enjoying the program, though. There's a lot of useless stuff I'm learning (chapter six is all about the fith domain in writing; second-hand experiences that can give you inspiration and are a very useful source for ideas and information - like, I already knew that, I just know how to name it now xD), though there is very interesting stuff as well. Little bits and pieces of psychology. The examples used in the textbook are really old, though. I'm not familiar with them at all. Which makes me wonder: are they just really old-fashioned or am I too stubborn to engross myself in the Dutch classics? I mean, I've heard about Multatulli, but I never read anything of him.

Speaking of reading the classics: I'm working on Lewis' Alice in Wonderland now. Migods what a silly book. I'm not enjoying it at all! o.O
