The Professor Passes Another Milestone, Or, Quite Possibly, A Millstone

Yesterday, 7 December, was my birthday. I turned 65. I am now, demographically, elderly.

Pooh.

We spent the day quietly -- slept a little late, went for a drive down to Nantasket, it being such a nice day. Had an early dinner at Fox & Hounds, then went home to listen to NPR. (Ask Me Another, the second half of Prairie Home ( Read more... )

I have decided to view the calendar with deep suspicion, and to carry on on my current course.

I hope you've signed up for Medicare as they like to penalize you for not doing that in time .

I have seven months to decide what to do, I wish my kaiser would be sufficient but it's not apparently .

I'm going to try and start a family discussion with my five siblings to see what they all have done .
