19 candles
Or Booga de Fets as I like to call them. I had a really wondrful birthday, not only that but a really awesome birthday week. Ashley was taking a week long vacation from work so we hung out hardcore. We gossipped, played every board game I own, (Including a couple of cool ouji board sessions) and had our season three Queer as Folk Marathon. Brian is a god, Justin is a doll, and I get to watch fourteen hours of them making out. Fine by me. I finally got my serger yesterday and it's beautiful. It sews pefectly and I'm looking forward to making costumes that I can really sell. Go me! Then Ashley showed up with a huge stack of presents (I love my spendthrift friend). Her theme for all of my presents was Organization so I got a bunch of cool stuff for organizing my sewing area, which everbody who knows me knows I really need. This morning, Liz gave me a book about corsets I've had my eye on for months and Mom and Dad gave me a card with fifty dollars, a new nickname from my mom (Bunny girl, I love it!), and one of my dads uplifting messages.
We went to lunch at The Thai Place where Sue gave me free thai donuts with a candle in them and came home to play Boggle and Scrabble. Dads obsessed with Boggle. I'm beginging to worry. :)
It was one of the best birthdays I've had and I look foreward to a reprise when I have my party with all my friends. I've had an awesome week and it'll only get better from here, next stop Christmas.
