Sydney Aquarium and Wildlife Park
Today was my cousin Sheree's birthday and so we celebrated her birthday and my neice Miley's birthday (which is in a couple of days) by travelling up to Sydney to see the Aquarium and wildlife park in Darling Harbour. First we got majorly lost! lmfao! but we eventually made it to the car park, from there it was a journey on the monorail(my first).
We went to the Wildlife park first and managed to see the release of the butterflies buuuut there weren't that many :( but it was amazing to watch them fly around us! After the park we went over to a nearby cafe to have lunch, me and my cousin, Beau(Miley's dad and Sheree's brother) ordered the same thing and he got his first and after his first bite of the burger, he discovered it was raw! mine was then delivered and I asked the server "Is mine gonna be like that? Cause if so I'm gonna need it taken back and cooked some more." LMAO! the server's face turned horrified and he kept offering to take Beau's back and get him a new one but my cousin had pretty much lost his appetite. Thankfully mine was cooked well!
Then we were off to the Aquarium!! Which was my favourite cause I just am amazed by fish and sea creatures! I took like a million pics on my phone and OMG! they had Dugongs!! I LOVE them! There was was also penguins, coral and starfish! and *SQUEE* Giant Sea Turtles! they are so graeful and elegant!! and we got to watch them from the underwater tunnels, watching them as they swam over top of us to close that if you lifted your hand to the glass it was almost like you were touching them as they went past. It was awesome! OH! and then as I was watching the dugongs out of no where a HUGE mantaray suddenly appeared in front of me! like 5cm in front of my face, SCARED THE HELL OUTTA ME!
Then it was home again! Such an awesome day!
