Because many things I've wanted to see have been released all at once, I've been spending a foolish amount of time at the cinema:
Unleashed: go see this now. now, godammit!

Gatecrashed a BBQ at Pip's friends' house on Saturday: the homemade burgers were excellent, as was the company, and I came home 10 CDs and one 28" widescreen TV richer! Result! (Many, many thanks to rfbooth for helping to lug it about and set it up) He also gave me a spare remote for my cable box as mine's broken and they have yet to send me a new one. Unfortunately, it doesn't work either, so I think it might be a problem with the remote sensor on the box instead. I've booked a tech to have a look at it tomorrow, which means a couple of hours of working from home to ensure I'm in when they call. Hurrah!
Had the jewellery changed in my new piercings yesterday, so I'm now a lot more comfortable, reassured to know they're healing really well, and I no longer clank when I walk.
JP is moving the last of his stuff and his person in this afternoon. Grrreat. I've been putting if off by doing unnecessary chores and then having a long unnecessary soak in the bath, but I spose I ought to get my rear end into gear while there's a break in the rain. ::Sigh::
