It's more likely than I thought, apparently.
It seems almost every corner of the internet is smothered with some sort of ad or another. I'm more disappointed at having large square ads dead center in my FFXI wikipedia pages than little bars on either end of my blog. It's next to impossible to read the stats on something when the text is compressed to three characters per line due to an unsightly ad telling you to go get their newest T-shirt. Where is the actual line between decent and indecent for advertizing something? If it's to the point that the ad itself is no longer a part of the page, but an obstruction to the content you need, wouldn't you say it's a bit much? It's nothing compared to the idiocy that is Youtube nowadays. Now I can't tell if I'm watching MSN video content or looking up fellow nerd prank wars.
Aside from my displeasure towards shameless marketing, I've decided to start over in Demon's Souls and get everything I can the first time around. Despite how enjoyable I find NG+, I've found my messy stats and my splotchy armor list to be hindering to the point the game is nearly unplayable unless I'm some sort of untouchable god. However, since the game is so friendly and the other players are
extremely helpful and considerate, restarting to prolong my enjoyment sounds like a wonderful idea.
Memo to self: Reach Level 100 before NG+ and once 200+, play in offline mode.
I feel a little artistic though, and have recently decided to experiment with a new drawing style. Since the only thing I was really genuine at before was eyes and hair, playing around with a more doll-like interpretation of my other style is a lot more fun. I'm also starting to use my B pencils instead of sticking to the H side in a paranoid fashion. Hopefully I'll get a scanner at some point, or a tablet perhaps. Either way, I hope I can fine tune a bit more of my drawing skills before I get my old beauties back.
I'm craving Peach Tea Snapple right now.
Side note: I'm kinda smitten that LJ thinks my Yukon location is somewhere in Prince Rupert. Google maps btr.
