When I eat a steak I try and imagine it in its place on whatever animal, I imagine it working as it was meant to for any number of years before it became what is on my plate and in my body.
I don't think it was working as it was meant to be, if you end up eating it. The ways in which we raise and treat animals before slaughter is horrifying and not what their natural life and body would be like at all.
I'm not admonishing you, I'm just offering another perspective. Even though I'm vegetarian, I know not everyone on the planet will become veg or vegan, but the very least I'd like to see is a return to small farming and instituted humane treatment and slaughtering of animals.
Gah! Will leave it at that. I did used to loooove steak, mind you, but have created a veg facsimile that often amazes.
Oh. Er, yes. A couple of months ago I accidentally prodded the wrong person about the art exchange/challenge thing. Prolly confused the wallies out of him. Upon realisation of my mistake, I did feel like an ass. Not just for myself. Sorry.
Drawing still an interest though not a challenge, not a challenge from me to you, but an inspiration and a reason to not have such lazy pencils and pens and minds and fingers. I would be very much interested!
