WEDDING DRESSES!
so.....today was like .... amazing
i was gonna go to first period but when that alarm went off at 6 i was like, fuck that, and i slept in until 8:30. then got up, drank tea with my mom in her plush bed (yes, i'm a nerd who drinks tea), then took a shower and just lounged about until 11, when i went to my aunts house. we putted around there for a bit until my uncles (bill and loren) picked us up and took us to the ferry terminal. my aunt, mom, and i took a ferry to the city and talked about our hair like allllllll the way there. it was nice not to have dudes around to complain about that kinna shit. then we got off the ferry and my aunt bought me a chai which, unfortunatly, spilled all over my white tights and ugg boots when i was running and being silly. my cousin (sasha) and her fiance (matt, or i prefer to call him mattie, i have bad associations with the name 'matt') were driving up to pick us up at the ferry place and i was being my silly self running by the car and mysteriously, my chai took flight and spilled ALL over me. it looked like i had some disease. sooo, sasha gets out to greet us and i'm holding my empty cup and am splattered with brown ... shit. mattie laffed and it was sad. then we all had to cram into their TINY rental car. it was a convertible mustang, which is cool and all for .... TWO people, but not 5. my mom, aunt and i were so squished and i had seat belt clips up my ass...nice visual. sooo, then we drove to fisherman's wharf and went out to lunch at a sea food place and i pigged out. i had a grilled cheese, a HUGE pile of frech fries, the remainder of my cousin's salad and like 5 million pieces of delicious garlic bread. at the restaurant, sasha showed us her wedding book and all these awesome dress picture. we made mattie look away so he wouldn't see her dresses. oh, and he had to wear his sunglasses cuz he broke his regular glasses and only had sunglasses. it was funny. i get to be one of sasha's bride's maids and i'm so excited....!!!
then for the exciting part: my mom, sasha, and her mom, and i all took a taxi too Saks fifth aveunue and went to the vera wang wedding dress department. by the way, saks has hella ugly clothes that are WAY overpriced. clothes for conservative old rich ladies with wretched taste. but, omg, the wedding gowns....i died. my aunt cried and i almost did! she tried on all these gorgeous gowns that ..... o dear. i am so jealous. i need to get married now! lol. we stayed there for a like an hour or so and got served drinks and stuff. it was so ..... awesome! then we went back to meet up with mattie who was still at fisherman's wharf looking at sea lions..(aw). on our taxi ride back we had this whole talk about bush to the driver. it was fun! he was cool. then we drove home and went to my aunts house and chilled there and then came home. it was so awesome...SO much more awesome than school. i think i should drop out and try on wedding dresses for a living. lol. i wish. well, gotta go finish up hw and shit.
