(no subject)
last night my dreams were so vivid and thats very rare for me.
first i was swimming with spike (my dog) in an indoor pool...which is odd enough in itself.
but we were swimming all the way to the bottom, near the scary part where the drain is, and i had to go up for air, but spike just stayed there. So i went up for air and came back to get spike, but for some reason i couldn't quite make it all the way to him and ran out of air again. frantically i went for air again and when i came back it was too late and spike had somehow drowned at the bottom of the pool. so i pulled him out and tried to "fix" him, but it was soo weird, because he wasnt dead...it was more like he just "rebooted" and gah it was so weird...he was like one of those sony dogs that came out a few years ago that were so gay and stupid...and the weirdest part is this dream woke me up.
my bed was drenched in sweat and at first i thought i had actually pissed my sheets, but alas i stood up and confirmed i was just sweating profusely. i laid back down on the edge of my bed (the only place that wasnt bitterly cold from the chilled sweat) and i couldn't go back to sleep.
i think this means i'm a horrible parent and an undeserving spike owner. damn it.
of course i think it might be connected to my severe fever i've had since thursday night which has been making me feel awful in bed. but still...is spike going to drown?
