I came here with the intention of asking anyone to share tips about fannish events in London in August, as I will be back visiting the city for the first time in six years. (Stoked, much? Oh yeah.)
And then it turned into sorta... reading old stuff, checking on my people's LJs and old fandom things and.
I think I gotta seal this journal: I won't be posting anymore.
I am. SO. grateful.
For all of you, for my fandoms, for the brilliant writers. I don't care if someone thinks I've wasted the last ten years with this stuff - it's still seductive, it still has the ability to suck me in, I still read more fic than a 29-year-old career girl probably should, I can still spend a 16-hour-day glued to my laptop and AO3.
And I'm fine with it. I've been happy here, and comfort reading still makes me happy.
But I'm OK in the outside world, too, and I don't have the time to give this the attention I used to and that it deserves.
