AS I UNDERSTAND IT:
Nisei is Seimei's true Fighter. So Seimei and Nisei are Beloved and Soubi is the "imposter."
Because Soubi is apparently a special Fighter who is blank to begin with, and can take any name (this can only be done once; and is possibly a result of someone dying? I don't know. Confusion).
CUE FLASHBACK
So 17 year old Soubi is such a puppy, omg. Ritsu comes in and tells him that he chose a Sacrifice for him, and that Soubi will be Beloved from now on. Soubi... wow. He goes all emo and says that he wants Ritsu to be his Sacrifice (?!!). Ritsu says no, because he already has a Fighter (who is dead). Soubi very obviously wants Ritsu so hard at this point, and I guess that this explains why Soubi can't stand him in the present day? ABANDONMENT ISSUES to go on top of his piles of other issues, I guess.
Anyway, 14 year old Seimei meeting 17 year old Soubi is super-creepy.
Dialogue:
Seimei: Come here, Soubi.
Seimei: Should I put your name here?
Seimei: It will be like a necklace.
Seimei: Soubi, I will give you my name.
Seimei: Don’t be afraid of me writing my name.
Seimei: Don’t be afraid of me possessing you.
Seimei: Don’t be afraid of me controlling you.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
-Ritsu standing up to Seimei for Soubi was... um. Wow. I think I might actually like Ritsu now.
-Come to think of it, I'm becoming a big Soubi fan very quickly.
-I'm not sure if this chapter proves or disproves my theory that Ritsu took Soubi's ears.
-WHERE IS KIO, KOUGA YUN?!
