...okay, no. But. Kio figures that Dee, as a newcomer, has not earned the position. Kio has (in his own mind) proved to be reliable and caring and at least familiar, and he's known the kids for awhile, and he's responsible REALLY, and he's a dad at home! He feels like he's really, really qualified, and Dee isn't so much and it's not FAIR.

He feels like while not exactly taking his place, Dee is moving in on his territory (he blames Yzak). And it's frustrating because he genuinely likes Dee, too, so he doesn't want to get all jealous; especially over a stupid and nonsensical thing like this.

Besides, being dad is better suited to Mamajima's significant other. DON'T STEAL MY GIRLBOYFRIEND.

When Kio told him that, Dee honestly felt a little guilty. Because he's not the type of guy to go and do stuff like that, pushing himself into already tight-knit groups, families, etc. So if it came down to Shinn saying Kio could be the cabin dad, Dee would let him with no arguments. BECAUSE DEE LIKES YOU KIO, EVEN IF YOU WANTED TO LICK PIE OFF HIS FACE.

It's funny only because I don't think anyone in Cabin 10 even wants Kio in there, actually (barring Oscar, of course). YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT, DEE. KIO'S BIGGEST ENEMY IS HIMSELF~

Really? XD I got that impression, and so did Dee, but Dee just doesn't get why nobody likes Kio. He thinks he's an okay guy.

Also, I'm too lazy to log back into Dee's journal right now. 8D
