Florence was so wonderful! It was such a great relaxing weekend with the hetero-life partner. She showed me around her hood. We went to some markets and attempted to bar/club hop with some of her SACI peers. We also went to the town Fizole outside of Florence at sunset and saw a beautiful view of all of Florence. We also went to the Academia and saw the David. He is freaking huge! I can't remember what else we did. I got attacked my mosquitos in her apartment (she forgot to warn me so I didn't go to bed prepared the first night). I have bug bites all over my face and body. I feel like a freak show! My Left eye is all puffy and red. They don't itch as bad anymore so I can actually focus my attention on other things.
Yeah, I am so excited for our future travels! She will be here in like 2.5 weeks. After we HELLABRATE my 21st birthday, we are going to start our adventure together ( Amsterdam, Berlin + other cities in Germany?, Barcelona + Other places in Spain like Madrid, and Lisbon+ other cities in Portugal). I am going to the homeland(s)! I am going to do some research and try to locate some family in Germany and Portugal. Or at least figure out the cities there that my family is from.
Also, in Milan I ate the most amazing Focaccia. It melted in my mouth! When I went to go to sit and eat it in this little park I almost was attacked by a flock of Pigeons. I saw all of these empty benches so I went to sit down and then slowly more and more pigeons encircled me. So I panicked and got up to leave and they followed me and flew around me and It was seriously a scene out of the Birds. (I can imagine Charlie's heart to race just reading this story) It scared the crap out of me! Luckily after I stepped across the street they stopped following me.
Anyways, here are the photos of Amanda that I took (and I am in love with..her and the pictures):
