[One second Sora was holding on to Riku's hand about to cry his eyes out
and the next he was on his knees on some old street with a PCD in his
hands instead. It took him a second to realize he wasn't where he was
supposed to be.]
Huh...?
[His grip tightens on the PCD.]
No. This is not happening. Not after I-[He jumps up to his feet.] No! Riku! Kairi!
[He

You know that only works when you're aiming it at a keyhole, right? Come on, Sora, you're smarter than that.

And all he can think is: Five hours ago I was sitting in front your headstone, telling Ukitake that I didn't want you to come back and here you are.]

You're gonna have to give him a moment as the feed switches off and he rage quits life.]

You always show up yelling. Didn't anyone ever teach you to speak at a normal volume. Tch. Idiot.

I'm right here, Sora. Kairi's back home, where she belongs.
[Another pause.]
If you press the yellow button on the side of the device, it'll send me your coordinates and I'll come find you.
So you can stop yelling before you annoy someone else.

Riku! You're okay! And you look like yourself!

Riku? W-wait. Come back. Riku?

Back...home? What-
[He fiddles with the device until he found the yellow button and pushed it.]
What's going on? Where are we? Where are you? You were gone for so long and then I was gone and then you were gone again and-
[And he accidentally hits a button that cuts the feed.]

But he found nothing. Which mean that Sora was going to be getting a call back.]
Thanks for hanging up on me, Sora. I can feel how much you missed me already.

What? No! I missed you a lot Riku. You've been gone so long and then I thought, finally, we could all be together again, and then I was gone again. But you're here! You're still here and I-
[Could you hear his voice wavering Riku?]
I miss you.

You're in a place called Adstringendum, Sora. Another world, basically. There's no way back home or to the World That Never Was or the Dark Margin or where ever you cam from. There's no keyhole, believe me, I already looked.
I've been here for nine months. So, technically, you're the one who's been gone.
[And then there's a pause and a loud annoyed sound as he runs his fingers through his hair and tugs.]
I'll be there soon, alright? Just... stay there.

[He just slumps down, dropping the Keyblade. It disappeared before it even hit the dirt. Riku was mad at him. That had to be it. That had to be why he was acting like this. He didn't really understand what he said about Adstringendum and there being no way out, but he'd figure that out later. Right now he was too busy staring at the back of his clenched fists in the dirt trying not to cry. What did he do? Was it because he was gone so long? He could ask when he got there. Wherever here really was. Stupid new worlds and their stupid making things complicated.]

But then Riku showed up. He slowly turned his head and pulled his hands away from the dirt. He was here. He was right here. That's what he thought the last time, but then he was gone again. Right when he touched him. Poof. Carefully, slowly, he reached over and touched his arm as if doing so would make him disappear. Nope. Still there. And then he couldn't help it anymore. He was clinging to that sweater, head dropped and crying.]
I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. I dunno what I did but I'll fix it. Please don't hate me. Please. I'm sorry.

But then he doesn't and he's clutching at him and he can hear and feel the intensity of his tears as he presses into him. The weight of his words are like heavy blows directly aimed at his heart. He doesn't hate Sora. He could never, ever hate Sora. No matter what may have transpired between them in the past. No matter how many times Sora came and went, he could never hate him.
What had he told Sango the very first time they had ever spoken of something else being between them? That Sora was the most important thing in the world to him. His most precious and important person. And right now that person was leaning against him, crying tears of sadness and pain because he thought he had done something wrong.
His hand lifted slowly, running through soft brown spikes carefully.]You didn't do anything wrong, Sora. What ever's happened to me isn't your fault. And I could never blame you for it ( ... )

But...if you're not there then there's no point. I told Kairi I wouldn't come home until I brought you with me. I can't go home. Not without you.
