Mask update

I cast the jaw last night.

Making the silicone extra thick helped prevent the "droop" problem I experienced with the head. The silicone picked up some tiny bubbles on the underside parts. That is what I get for going quickly. :/

I under measured the resin for most of the mother mold so it was very brittle. Cracked and broke like crazy during demolding. But it still works, sort of. Annoying, but usable for now.

I got a decent pull out of it last night. The jaw is narrower than the mask. Which is weird because the masters are better matched, must be a bi of distortion in the mold. I should be able to adjust them a bit to line up better.

The smooth cast roto worked wel, stronger and set up quicker.
I am going to try the task 15, which is harder to measure and mix but look like it will be a lot stronger.

My goal is to get one good mask full head this weekend and a couple of back ups, so we can start painting ASAP.
Then:
Mount to head band
Add glowing eyes
Wire up video.
