Painting
We worked on converting one of the bedrooms into Poe's office.
I pulled off all the shelving, patched ,plastered and prepped.
We got office furniture from Ikea.
A frosted glass bean shaped desk,
a chase lounge and ottoman,
some lamps and a new light fixture.
I had some difficulty with the light fixture, it was not made to fit out 1951 wall box. But after some drilling and filling I made the mouthing bracket work.
Painting:
We went with 2 colors. Crocodile Tears - a light, creamy green and Bamboo - a even lighter yellow green. It took 3 coats of the darker color to cover the white walls.
I still need to put a second coat on the lighter color walls, paint the closet and all the trim.
I want to get the room "done" and have her moved in by this weekend. I had hoped to get it done this weekend. Oh well.
