The new rice maker has been working well.
We have made brown rice in it twice. Easy and perfect each time.
Gian made a risotto in it last night - yum!
Simple and easy, without the scored rice at the bottom of the pan like the old rice cooker would always do. However it does take a long time - about 2 hours. So you need to set it to cooking well ahead of time. The keep warm feature means you don't have to be too worried about it finishing off a bit early.
Cleaning is a snap, the non stick bowl wipes clean. Hand wash in the sink with a washcloth. Quick and easy.
The size is perfect for our household. A bit on the small side for a risotto or to feed a larger group. So at some point I want to pick up a larger one as well.
I am very happy with my purchase.
