Rice cooker update part 2
Looking at the actual specs I discovered that the spiffy induction heating versions use double the power. 1200 watts on the mid size - yikes! Pluss it costs $100 more.
So I think I will stick to the standard electric Micom style.
Looking at the reviews for the rice maker cook book, the only down side is residual flavors in plain rice used afterward. So I guess the ideal would be to get one of each size.
I think I will get a small one for now. If we love it and use it a lot, I will pick up a mid size one for whole meals. :)

NS-LAC05 - Zojirushi 3 rice cup rice cooker (stainless steel) on order from amazon. As well as a rice cooker cook book. :)
Now, I have to learn how to use our electric egg poacher. Or maybe get a egg poacher insert for our sauce pan. And track down a decent egg / crumpet ring set.
