On Vacation
I am on vacation right now in the Hawaii Island of Kauai.
It, is, awesome!!!
Warm and humid but not too bad. Lush, green, everything you see in the movies. Which makes sense considering most of them are filmed here.
Right now we are using our resorts wi-fi to hop online. While drinking rum drinks mixed up in our cottage.
We are staying on a old coconut plantation converted to a resort. Cottages from around the island have been relocated here and re-furbished. I love it. It is so much better than a hotel. A nice little house with all the amenities.
Including wildlife. The island is COVERED in chickens. Every ware. And there is a pride of semi-wild cats living under our cottage. We got some cat food from wal-mart (Yes they have a wal-mart) and the went wild! They know what cat food is.
I am taking way too many pictures. I will be posting them to my flikr account. Lots of scenery pictures. I may use them for desktop backgrounds later.

I frogot to pack one of my martikis!!!
How could I forget? The birthplace of tiki-sheek! Oh well. I acquired a new tiki. At wall mart of all places. Who knew?
I also picked up some drift wood. I will attempt to make a new Tiki out of it. It is pretty brittle though. So I don't know how well it will work. But it is worth a try!
