Busy Weekend

Things have been busy. Too much gaming. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Yikes!

I did manage to make some progress on dice bags and castings though.
I made my second lined dice bag and it came out great! I just need a way to enforce the holes for the drawstrings. I will look into maybe doing a button hole around it. (If I can find a attachment for my sewing machine.

I made a second mold of the hoof using oomoo 25 with a much shorter set time. It came out....sticky and a bit "off". I don't think i like the oomoo 25 as much. I don't think the shorter set time is worth the difference in molding quality.

I tried to salvage the spear mold. No good. It has bent out of shape, flattening. The mother mold material I used was supposed to prevent that, but failed. Oh well. I wasted some resin trying to get a cast anyway (Bending it back into shape) At this point it is just easier to start over from scratch. *shrug* It is not that much more work.

Sunday I was out of sink. Everything I did was not working quite right. I tried to embroider a pattern and it just kept, jamming, snagging, breaking threads, etc. I even switched to a new needle, new bobin. No good. So I walked away. I will try again tonight. I don't know why I was having such difficulty. Maybe it was the new thread?. I wound a new bobin, we will see if that helps.

proping, sewing, gaming
