Worked on Oichi today. Learned how to cover armor in vinyl -- it looks SUPER AWESOME. Even the most boring pieces can be instantly made cool. I will be redoing pretty much everything this way. Gwendolyn... here I come! Again.
So Oichi now has all her plate armor covered. Next up is the fur armor.
Made the bodice, put on some scales... And I'm going to need a lot of scales. Bought about $30 worth of shoe laces to lace it all together.
Then I got a heart-rending cry from Will -- "Don't leave me alone with the Hetalia people!" First bigkittychan, and now him are all "whoo, Hetalia." It's like a mind virus.
Well, Will... I'd love not to abandon you to the current worst fandom ever. But I couldn't find any red and pink, or red and red striped fabric to make a Liechtenstein dress. So, um... sucks to be you, I guess.
I'd also like to have Miria from Baccano as a Masquerade Ball dress. And if I had time, I would totally be all over that. But alas, I have about 1,000 scales to manufacture in about 2.5 weeks... not to mention painting the Honeonna kimono.
