Egypt I (part 2): Debut Glimpses of Cairo from a Balcony
Time for Egypt I, part 2. So we checked in at Caesar's Palace soon after we arrived from Cairo International Airport, which, to my surprise, was rather small. We then went to our suites (one was for the girls, another for the guys; the AIESEC Oman delegation had 2 suites and they were just right across from each other on the same floor). Each suite had a balcony extending from a bedroom. When one of the boys discovered the amazing balcony we girls had, he called all the others of his kind over to enjoy our balcony and express how jealous he is that we had the better one. ^^

Hung to Dry
Clothes hanging to dry on a line hanging from the edge of a top of a building. One thing I've noticed about Cairo, Egypt:
everyone seems to live in flats in the modern, cosmopolitan and densely populated city. I did not see any full-fledged,
single-standing house when I was there.
Like a Dollhouse
The leftmost photo most definitely reminds me of a dollhouse. middle and rightmost photos: More buildings taking up the space in this Cairo neighbourhood.

Vintage-looking Automobiles
Cosmo-modern Egypt's cars may be old, a little dirty and very much beat-up, but they undisputedly look cute!

A Boy Looks out into the World
If it weren't for the ledge responsible for his safety right then and there; maybe, just maybe, he would've fallen off. ^^
And the Boy Spots... Yours Truly
Yes, I was spotted! What an indiscreet photographer I must be. :(
"Guess she thinks I was contemplating falling. Better put my legs back in. The Superman dream will have to wait. Damn."
That wraps up the balcony shots from that first breath of Egypt.
