We actually did most of Italy (ie family and friends and I). Started in Florence, spent a week there, traveling out to all the small towns in the area. Then went to Positano and spent about 2 week traveling around the coastal towns - so pretty! After that, Rome - we walked all over that city! After that, spent about 2 weeks in Milan, and again, visited all the small towns around there before skiing in Selva for 2 weeks. I loved it, it's so pretty there!
I was in Italy June 28th-July 28th. Exactly one month. My first two weeks were spent in Calabria with a ballet company. That was my only reason for traveling to Italy in the first place. But since I would be in Italy anyway, I knew I might as well see all that Italy had to offer so I signed up with a sightseeing group called Contiki- just for 18 to 35 yr. olds. Contiki went all over Italy. Rome, Sorrento, Island of Capri, Florence, Verona, Milan, La Spezia, Cinque Terre, Pisa, Venice. Whew. I THINK that was all of it. lol yeah. It was amazing. I did some serious damage in Milan. :-D My plastic is still recovering from the ordeal that was Milan. hehe My favorite places were Sorrento, the Island of Capri and Florence. Rome was sooo touristy that it was, itself, a turn-off. I'm still rather jetlagged so I'm off to sleep. We'll have to chat again soon. So much to discuss! 'night
