Merry Christmas!
It's been an exhausting holiday season for me even though I'm broke and have done next to NO shopping =^) My shoulders have been KILLING me ( and I don't know why ). I'm probably being dumped from the guest list of one of my friends ( or at least I haven't heard from her and I usually have the invite by now! ) and I'm so damned tired that I'm getting NONE of the housekeeping tasks I wanted to get done actually done. ( Besides the fact that my sinuses have been staging multiple coups on my brain * sigh ).
But it's STILL a Merry Christmas =^) I'll just go crash my Dad's Christmas ( like I did Thanksgiving - hah! ) I'm mostly healthy ( sinuses and shoulders aside ) and I'm comparatively at peace. I wrote the fic I had to write by this month's deadline. I wrote the press release for the non-profit I'm volunteering with. And I got Netflix, whoo-hoo! ( Already had a great night last night watching the 1948 Vivien Leigh version of Anna Karenina - the costumes were by Cecil Beaton, NO WONDER her clothes were so spectacular in that film - and the Ingrid Bergman / Yul Brynner version of Anastasia. I guess I'm crushing on Russian themes...) How fine was Yul Brynner? I've ALWAYS loved that man but he was just BEAUTIFUL in Anastasia. And he made me think of what Severus' grandfather might have looked like...
