I love this. I like the detachment and the cold clinical nature of it, and I love that the audience isn't quite immersed in Ianto's point of view. I really love that, for the audience, the identity of the shapeshifter is left slightly ambiguous.

Thank you very much, I wasn't sure whether the distance and the ambiguity at the end would work or not. So I'm really pleased that you liked it.

Thank you for reading.

oh my god... that was truely nerve wracking! And you didn't let us know what happened?!?! But it was fabulous - i agree with the coldness and the clinical feel to it all - it was fabulous!

Thank you very much, I really wanted to leave it undecided at the end so I'm pleased it worked for you.

I don't watch Torchwood, but I know enough to understand this and I think it's amazing. I adore the sense of tension, and how detached it is. I also like the way you didn't spell things out at the end, so we can make up our won minds. Great job ♥

Thank you very much, I really wanted the tension to work so I'm pleased you thought it did, and to leave everything a little bit uncertain at the end, I thought that would be appropriately brittle. I'm glad you liked it.
