Thank you very much, that's really nice of you to say. I think Aidan definitely has something to fight, all the time. I'm pleased you thought it worked.

Wow. First, I was flailing cause you wrote Being Human US. Now, I'm flailing cause this is so beautiful in its misery. Simply wonderful, for Aidan.

Thank you, I'm finding the American version pretty easy to watch, and some of the changes have made the relationships interesting. I'm happy you liked it.

Oh very cool.

Does it feel weird writing about characters that are kind of the same as ones you've written about before, but not really???

Thank you very much :)

It does, it really does. The vampire rules are different and the people are different but the stories are...kind of the same and I'm trying very hard to keep them separate in my head.

OK, first I have to admit that I haven't watched the US version. But having said that it's waay hot. I love Aidan's train of thought, of how everything he is and does is irretrievably linked to his thirst for blood.

Aidan is Michell obviously, and Bishop is Herrick? Have they tweaked the background because Mitchel is 117 in the UK version not 200.

Is it worth a watch? I've been burned by US versions before *cough* life on mars.

I'm finding it pretty easy to watch. Though I know a lot of people that watch the UK version either hate it or don't want to watch it. I have much love for the UK version, but I'm liking what they've done with the vampires and some of the plot lines in this one.

Yes, you've got it right, though Aidan is older in this one. He died in the American revolutionary war. So he's probably about 240, or something??

Yeah, remakes are a minefield especially if you love the original. I'd try it if you're curious, though be prepared for deja vu :D

Wow, I loved this! It made me sad for both of them, but in a way in the show I really am anyway... but is it bad that every time I read something about Aidan wanting to get away I always feel worse for Bishop? xD Just kiss and make up, boys. Kiss and make up.

I loved the way you wrote Aidan, always at war with himself in his head as well as Bishop. I have to imagine that'd be the way it is for him... constant temptation to give in to something darker and more familiar than what he's left with now. And who could resist Mark Pellegrino anyway? O_O

Really great piece! I'm happy to see more Bishop/Aidan popping up around the community! :)

Thank you so much, I know what you mean though, their relationship, gah. There's that selfish, possessive edge mixed with the 'I really do want what's best for you' with a sliver of tough love thrown in. And with all this boiling history underneath. Why can't they just kiss and make up?

That's a really nice compliment, I was worried about getting him right. And, yes, I may be horribly biased but who could resist Mark Pellegrino?

I'm happy you liked it. I'm definitely hoping it's a pairing that gets some attention :D
