Of course Castiel says that straight out. No wonder Dean went into 'does not compute' mode.

I think it's hilarious that Dean thinks that you just don't blurt stuff like that out -- he know that Castiel *does*, after all. :D

And yeah, Dean is a little scared by Castiel's absolute faith in him.

I love Dean's 'does not compute' mode. Sometimes I think Castiel leaves him there on purpose because he kind of likes it too!

It reads to me like an asexual indulging his boyfriend's libido, which is kind of sweet. And yes, I think Castiel enjoys wrong-footing Dean occasionally; he's learning some interesting vices from humans.

That's actually one of my guilty pleasures plot wise for them, but it's very rarely written. Castiel learning interesting vices is good too though.
