nnnngh *flails inarticulately at you* This is so beautiful and brings this good slow kind of ache, and I just love it so much. Sam's reaction is very believable and that end is just *flails some more*

Thank you so much! I love making people flail, I'm so pleased the whole thing worked for you. I really, really wanted to have a go at the 'Dean sees an angel' theme.

Thank you for reading :D

I can't think of what to say about the Dean/Castiel, their wonderful relationship and their xxxHOLiC ending - PERFECT. ♥

And Dean's bouts of amusement - on the stairs, with Sam, re: the bumping into people (oh, the bumping into people!) - feel so good to read; regardless of how much more complicated an emotion might lie beneath, there's something so lovely about them.

"I shouldn't be doing it?" Dean says slowly, more than an edge of irritation under the words. "Sam I'm perfectly aware that there are things I can't do now. Driving, kayaking, bowling, running into traffic. Walking around outside and telling people how to kill things, that I can still do."

I could hear Dean's voice with crystal clarity right here.

...the sound of Bobby quietly disapproving at them all from under his hat.

Bweeheehee, I loved that.

Thank you so much! That's really nice of you to say :D I had a lot of fun with the whole 'Dean against the world' theme. More than fine on top, amused in the middle and a little broken underneath. I'm so pleased it worked for you.

Thank you for reading.

Thank you so much for your amazing comments! I couldn't help but think that Dean would see it as a fair trade, because I think he expects so much worse, so I went with that idea and I'm really glad it worked for you, and that everyone sounded right that's a really great compliment. Than Cas, hanging around all quiet and guilty and penitent and far too attached. I coulnd't help that.

Thank you for reading.

I absolutely did, and yes, it's like they're putting everything I secretly wanted on the show in the show. A few more episodes and I'll start thinking I can control the plot with my mind-

-ah I'd like to control the plot with my mind :D

Thank you very much, that's a lovely compliment :D

I had a lot of fun with Dean and Sam in this so I'm glad they were amusing. Dean and Castiel are both so broken in their sacrifices, I found it difficult to believe that Castiel wouldn't, given the situation. So I couldn't resist that ending, I'm pleased you liked it.

Thank you for reading.
