Love the festivals
Had lots to do in the past week, in order to get ready for the St. Stan festival at the church. Went both days, hadn't planned on it but I had so much fun the first day that I went back. Then I headed over to the Park Ave. festival because I like to check out the artisan booths and get the good exercise. Didn't buy much, just a couple of cranky cat pins, a mood ring (cause I felt like it), some frozen custard and some baked treats. Got cards for a couple of vendors so I could go to their websites and I am hoping to get a couple of things for myself when money permits. There was one lady selling these gorgeous blown glass earrings for about $50 and I'll save up and get me a pair. They were fantastic and not something I can do. Also a cute outdoor shower sculpture that would be great for a little watering.
So, festivals are good. Friends are good. Finding new and interesting recipes are good. Oh, and cookies and cream frozen custard is very good. :)
