All Clear by Connie Willis
When Connie won the Hugo for Black Out and All Clear, I was nearing the end of this one. They are amazingly long books (for me). They're worth the read though.
Everything tips on its head in this one. Lots of things you want to have happen, happen. There's sadness though too.
