So how would you have liked to start the 3 hours you had been looking forward too for a whole week (ie the three hours you would be ALONE in the house)?
I'm guessing that the answer would not have been: waking up at 6:40 to the phone announcing that your husband had the morning off.
Oh well, I thought I'd have an hour at least since he'd have to leave at 11. so I came down to check school. At 6;40, school was on. Got kids up--kids are tired it was a late night. Got kids breakfast. husband says--no chance your meeting will be cancelled? he checks school closings, kids no longer have school--updated at 6;41.
so much for my day off.
