Now that both Harry and Ron are out of the Hospital, things around here seem to be somewhat back to normal. Of course, the two of them have a mound of homework to do and, as always, are slacking off and are waiting until this weekend to do it. Though, I think they forget that Ron and I are scheduled to take our apparition test on the twentieth. ( Read more... )

Yeah, I know. Ron's more behind than I am though, he might need some help catching up. Luckily I didn't miss any classes. Not from lack of trying.

How'd what go?

There's nothing he can do between now and the twentieth though. The instructor isn't planning to come back before the tests. I suppose you should tell him that the best thing he can do is to relax and remember everything he's learned.

Your meetings last night, particularly the one with Professor Dumbledore.

I guess. Wish I could do the test now myself, though I'm probably not ready for it.

I suppose I should work harder at getting it.

It won't be long until it's summer and you'll be able to take it yourself.

Well, you've got the perfect opportunity to get it now, especially since the thing with Ron happened. Use a bit of persuasion and tap into how guilty he feels about what happened.

But then I'll have to let a whole month of summer pass before I can actually take it.

If I can still get him to stay in the same room as me.

Why don't you ask Ron if you can stay with his family for a month. That way you won't have to go back to the Dursley's.

Have you tried cornering him after class? Or at dinner when he's at the Staff table? What about dropping by his office or his private quarters? One of those is bound to work. Though, Harry, you need to get it soon. It seems really important.

I'd probably have to ask Professor Dumbledore about it first. The Dursleys will say yes no matter what.

Yeah, I know. He just creeps me out a lot!
