Evelyn is in the library. Where else would a respectable young woman facing personal crises be in the event of an emergency? Besides the fact that anyone and everyone she knows remain trapped in her own dimension, and the fact that she can't get back, she's feeling a remarkably odd pulls towards two individuals she's met here so far.
Said individuals are somewhere, she's certain, and the ache (in one case) and the burn (in another) are starting to get grating. There has to be something that explains all of this.
One tome on strange romantic urges turned out to be nothing more than fiction of the vampiric sort, and after three sordid pages of comparisons to glittering marble statues and the apparently delicious bouquet of blood, she shut the damned thing and put it back on the shelf.
"...I hate this," she mutters grumpily, shoving another book aside and glaring at the shelves. If Jonathan were here, he'd know what to do - in his own strange way. If Rick were here, he'd assist her.
But she's alone. Mostly, anyway. Seeking help is almost beneath her.
Almost.
"Oh, for Heaven's sake, girl, this is ridiculous."
Evelyn turns to leave her beloved library, with every intention of finding one Sherlock Holmes. He'd know what to do. If she runs into anyone else, though...so be it.
