Sick of hearing about LoJ yet?

Had a moderately productive evening, in spite of the plumbing chaos.

Cut out and assembled the overskirt last night. All that needs to be done is the last seam on the waistband, and the hooks & bars.

I also did a little more trimming and cleaning up on the mask. With any luck, I'll be able to take it over to Susan's tonight and she'll help me finish the last of the paper mache.

What's left to do:
bind the eyelets
finish binding the tabs
sew hooks & bars for skirt placement

if I have time:
re-do the sleeve gathers
sew bands of green taffeta to cover the gathering stitches on the sleeves
finish the mask

All this, and I only have until Friday night to finish it. Eep! I have a feeling I'm going to be spending most of Saturday parked on qkilroy and barriequark's couch, stitching madly in an attempt to finish in time. But damnit, I'm going to look fabulous!!!

In other news, I got into the CC class that I'd been waitlisted for: lady's dancing slippers. I feel moderately better about the possibility of having to drop the gold bullion embroidery class now (although I'm still hoping that I'll be able to go).
