First Fic Announcement
Hey! So, before now my fanfic base has been Archive of Our Own. However, I've decided to make a LiveJournal for my fanfiction as well. I've been reading fics on here for years, so why not write some too? So here's a quick announcement regarding my next fic - and the first one you'll find here.
This was in fact a prompt from the fabulous titaniumironman, who requested an Avengers/Hunger Games crossover with his favourite pairing in the MCU fandom: FrostIron. They're coincidentally my favourite pairing too, so I was all too happy to accept the prompt. Plus, the chance to write about these characters battling it out in the arena was too good to pass up, despite not being the biggest fan of the book series myself (Battle Royale for life, y'all).
I reread the first book for the purpose of this fic and am working on it daily, so unlike my original fiction magnum opus (ha!) you can expect it sometime this millenium. Sadly, however, due to a backup fail on my iPad (that was probbaly my fault, though no court could prove it) I lost the first chunk of the tale, about 12k, and will have to rewrite that. I'm planning on doing that once I get all the way through, like editing without the first draft. Knowing me it'll come out better than it was the first time anyway. It was a little disheartening, but I soldier on.
I'm looking for a beta for this fic as we speak. I already have someone in mind and I'm hoping that she'll take the time to help my sorry ass out.
