Nothing's wrong! I just... I promised to help find Enjin-san, but my book doesn't work on him, and...

He can hurt me, and has powers too... I don't know what I should do. I-It wouldn't be safe to get close again, but I promised!

[ Nodoka nods, looking back at the camera. She does her best to offer him a smile, weak though it may be. ]

I... I'm not scared of him. I'm trying not to be! But... [ She sighs quietly, and rubs at her arm. ] When he hurt me, it was like... He was trying to pull me out of my body. It was horrible.

[ Another pause, then a smile. A bigger one. ]

It's okay to be scared. He's not a nice guy. That, and he can possess others, apparently.

[He smiles back, suddenly feeling a charge of optimism.]

Maybe, maybe not. We can't know for sure unless we ask him ourselves, and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't give us a straight answer.

I think that he has the ability to block my powers too. I... I couldn't read his mind, but he could read mine. I promised Touka-san and her friend that I would help, but I'm not sure how useful I'll be i-if... If my book doesn't work anymore.

Ah, there's a difference between "being right" and "having flaws". I mean, look at me. I sleep too much, snark a lot, and take way too much pleasure in technology for my own good.

But, then again, I suppose those are all admirable character traits, depending how you look at them.

I-I think it's good to get the right amount of sleep! And...

[ She trails off nervously. She was going to say that his snarking was quite charming, but that was far, far too embarrassing. ]

I-I think anything negative can be seen in a good light if you try!
