I downloaded an x264 (the latest and greatest in video encoding formats (like mp4 or mpeg, only a million times better)) version of Ghost in the Shell via bittorrent. I used it to fine-tune my set-up... I got the most recent codecs and decoding software of the net and I just figured out how to make everything run with PCM uncompressed (192khz, 32-bit) audio format. The surround sound is fucking amazing and it looks beautiful on my 40" 1080p LCD monitor. Yep, watching free anime has never been better.
