Oh holy crap! That was hot and witty and sarcastic and dry and funny and damn.

This line made me hoot :

James's smile quirks. His thoughts consist of "oh" and "er" and other halting syllables. It's sort of cute and endearing to think about it at a distance, but to have it here in front of him is another thing entirely, sort of like a wild baboon..

You've put all the other drabbles to shame, m'dear :)

Well, it doesn't help that I didn't discover the ficathon until last night around seven, could only be on for about an hour or two, and didn't get home till six this evening.
