Below are the moodboards for the "Colour & Light" assignment for the Fashion & Image Styling course. Both courses heavily utilize the concept of the Colour Wheel.
There is a strong relationship between colour and light. Without light, the human eye is unable to see colour. When we perceive different colours, what we are really seeing is light reflected back to our eyes in different wavelengths from the variety of surfaces around us. The individual colours within the white light appear according to their wavelength order and are reflected back to the human eye to perceive colour. Because colour is light, changes in light bring about immediate changes in the colour of any object or surface.
