Sunday in St Andrews

Jun 22, 2009 18:44

Having woken up at 8:30 in the morning, we decided to go to St Andrews on a whim. It turned out a very nice weekend.
St Andrews is a very quaint little town with a population of about 17,000 people, 40% of which are students. It's known for being the birthplace and world capital of golf. Its university, the oldest in Scotland and 3rd oldest university in the english-speaking world, is somewhat privileged with Prince William having studied Arts History between 2001 and 2005.
