Random Poetry
No So Random Time MessTo Include Update OOOH Pretty Caps ;o)
Ok so I've been trying to get back into the writing thing and it's not been going that well. I currently have 5 semi completed stories lol. To try and help me I returned to a post of mine from 2005 where I asked people for 2 words which I would attampt to turn into a poem of sorts. the entry is here: http://libmix.livejournal.com/44090.html and I shall now share the couple I have managed.
I would really appreciate some feedback as I literally haven't written so much in about 2 years!! I've started from the bottom and worked up :)
Words: Pedantic - Zebra
"Don't be so pedantic"
Said the Spider to the Fly
"They're both the same...
...well kind of thing
No need to get so frantic"
"Don't be so pedantic?"
Yelled the Fly now turning red
"A horse is just a horse
of course
But the Zebra's now dead"

Words: Degenerate - Umbrella
When it rains I'll be here by your side
My umbrella will keep back the tide
When degenerate's laugh in your face
and bring shame to the whole human race
Look away, put your face to the breeze
My umbrella will take out their knees.

Words: Eternity - Postcard
One thing you can be sure of
when you go on holiday
Is the fact that every postcard
Will somehow go astray
You write them when you get there
In the post that afternoon
Then they dissappear into darkness
A black hole full of doom

Words: Life - Passes
The darkness
The light
The pleasure
The pain
Two halves
One whole
Flowing
From birth
To death
Life passes
There is still 1 more I need to work on but thought I'd post these whilst still feeling brave lol
