Today was a rollercoaster. The weekend continues to produce fallout that is killing Gun 7 (my section). After the first high of passing my PT test this morning, the day went downhill. Thompkins, Phillips, and Galley were all smoked for now having their kevlars ready for inspection. This went on for so long that Chief Chrouchet put me in charge

I still have EVERY letter that was written to me while I was in boot camp. The letters are 17 years old now...

cool deal. I don't think I got any purfumed letters at basic... now that I think about it, I'm kinda disappointed. Oh well, I got letters, and lots of them, so that makes me happy.

The perfumed ones came mostly from my grandmother, and a friend or 2. I did not get many letters though. I was always soooo happy when I got one.
