THe question has come up more than usual in the past couple of days, in Goose's lj, and also while talking with Scott...
How exactly do I want to go about dying?
Well, I think I'd want to die while playing the hero. For instance, pushing someone out of the way of a bus, taking a bullet meant for them (unless its GWB, in which case, I'd probably be the one who fired), holding off a batallion of troops by myself, jumping on a live grenade, act as a cushion for someone (i.e. we're both falling, and I turn myself midair to take the force of the landing, leaving them to land on squishy--squishier after impact, mind you-- me.)
I want to be noticed in death. Respected in death. Admired in death. Remembered in death.
