Physical activity

In January I was feeling a little depressed. Mostly because I was stuck at home, sick most of the time, unable to do the semi new year's resolutions I had made. I've been feeling a lot better lately. What is this pretend lent business?

Have you thought about taking protein shakes? It may help with the bulking up without eating more meat.

I'm often a fan of setting rules for myself to help my discipline or health (don't get me started on my complicated coffee rules, which are always applicable). Also I think one very positive effect of religion can be to discipline people with things like fasts and lent. It can either show you that you really can survive without all that fancy stuff, or teach sympathy for those who are less fortunate and don't have access to them.

There's also a lot of catholics at my work, so it's something I can be reminded of. I know I'm not being super hardcore, but i think I'm getting some mild self betterment.

I tried to get protein powder last weekend but the place was closed. I plan to start with the shakes though.
