saturday ramblings
last night, craig made me a gorgeous dinner of steak, fresh green beans cooked with chopped onions, and red potatoes with rosemary and oil. it was truly amazing. he poured us two glasses of wine (a chardonnay from austrailia that was too dry for me), and two glasses of water. it was one of the sweetest set-ups ever, and i was really impressed by my boy.
we actually went to bed around 9. we were so exhausted from this week (and for him, the last two weeks) that we were out by 9. crazy, huh? so, i had weird dreams all night, and we woke up around 1, and i was wired and ready to be up for the day. i did eventually fall back asleep, but it was a while. we woke up around 8:30, and i've already thrown a load of laundry in, gotten ready, and done all of my computer stuff - and it's only 10:23. we have a lot of day left, which is good. we're going to go look at an apartment, add me to his accounts, and go to lunch, i think.
let's see - what else? oh! i had an interview with the woman who is on bedrest with triplets, and has a 9 month old. the triplets were a natural conception, and she's due in march. i know that i nailed it, and now i'm just waiting for the confirmation call. i'm really excited to work with this family because i really enjoy the mom, the baby is precious, and i know that the other three are going to be that way too. it's going to be a great gig, and i get to drive a hummer to appointments and such. they have 3 nannies for the baby, and then they are adding two more for the triplets, so that's really exciting...especially since (in faith) i'm one of them. :D
work has been going well, and i've still been able to be on the game quite a bit this week without any bad-ness, or frustration. i'm doing so much better than i was before the sam-e. it's rediculous.
friendships: i miss several of my older ones. i guess that's life, right?
