Beautiful Things...
Aren't we fabulous?? Taken on Saturday night. The frame was my anniversary present to D. Yes, anniversary. 2 years together and 2 years here in Melbourne. It doesn't feel like that long ago i was writing about my first anniversary. Time sure does fly when you are having fun!
And what have i learnt in the last two years? Melbourne is beautiful, the weather is cantankerous and sometimes you need to go through a major life change to find yourself happy. Admittedly i am still stuck in a rut with my career but at least i have some vague direction of what i want to do, whether i can afford it or not. I may not have wind in my sails but at least i have my rudder straight.
There are alot of people who need to be thanked at this stage, the beautiful Jess from sydney who was my voice of treason and stability when it came to shoes over food (you always know best), mizkatharina for being there for me when i needed help the most and for counselling me through what was a very rough time, natalya_dostova for lending me a bed while it took 3 months to find a nice little place, Shane and Mark for all their help and putting up with the drama princess that was i, medusasmistress for being such a beautiful friend and for understanding why, and last but not least my beautiful boy hollowviolin for being my rock, strong and stable for me to crack my head on when i needed it!
To all my new friends in Melbourne thankyou for welcoming me with such open arms and being such tops peoples! Youz hear me?? Topz!
